Marshall B. Rosenberg, PhD, was a clinical psychologist and the founder of the Center for Nonviolent Communication. He received his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wisconsin in 1961 and was awarded Diplomate status in clinical psychology from the American Board of Examiners in Professional Psychology in 1966.
